INTERNATIONAL DAY OF SOLIDARITY WITH THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE

Today Friday 29th November 2024 marks the International Day of solidarity with the Palestinian people, called by the UN General Assembly in 1977 to celebrate Annually.

The commemoration of this day of solidarity with the Palestinian people comes in light of more challenges facing the Palestinian people and their national identity, foremost of the continuation of the Israeli aggression on Gaza for more than a year.

The martyrdom of more than 43 thousand Palestinians, most of them women and children and more than 188 journalists and the destruction of Gaza completely.
The continuation of the policy of ethnic cleansing by the Israeli occupation in full view of the world and the use of the policy of starvation against the unarmed civilian population in an attempt by Israel to push them to migrate out of their home lands.

In addition to the Israeli occupation policy of expanding settlements in the West Bank, isolating Palestinian cities in separate cantons, continuing the confiscation of Palestinian clearing funds and completely halting the political process with the Palestinian Authority.

The commemoration of this day also comes while Israel is targeting the United Nations & its institutions, preventing its secretary-general from entering Israel and besieging the role of UNRWA in providing its services to millions of Palestinian refugees through the adoption of the special law in the Israeli Knesset, with caution, UNRWA's activity in the Palestinian territories and in Israel, a policy that targets the United Nations with all its institutions and international resolutions related to the Palestinian issue.

On this occasion, the Palestinian people reaffirm their continued struggle by all means to obtain their legitimate rights until the establishment of their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

They affirm their adherence to their land and rejectioning all the policy of displacement. The Palestinian people will continue to believe in the active role of the United Nations, humanitarian justice and its principles, and work to preserve Science in order to maintain regional and international peace and security.
On this day of solidarity with the Palestinian people, the Palestinian people looking forward to India to counting its support until they are achieving their legitimate rights, the people of Palestine still believe of the importance of India role to stopping the Israeli aggression on Gaza and providing political and material support to the Palestinian people.

They also believe strongly on the New Delhi Historical friend support the their national liberation movement.

On this occasion, the embassy of the state of Palestine in New Delhi confirms that the Palestinian people will continue to rely on India role to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza and defuse tension in the Middle East region, as well as on India support politically and financially specially Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip

It is noteworthy that On November 29, 2012, Palestine joined the United Nations as a "non-member observer state". On September 30, 2015, the Palestinian flag was raised in front of UN headquarters and offices around the world.
